Description: This is a sidewalk centeline inventory for Kenton County, Kentucky that was captured using 2012 aerial photography. The centerlines of the sidewalk segements were digitizing and established using criteria as set in an SOW that was created by the GIS for NKAPC Planning department for use on the Comprehensive Plan update. This data will require on-going updates as new aerial photos become available or from new subdivision developments.

Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>This Road Centerline Data Product represents the road centerlines for roads in Kenton County, Kentucky. There are many attributes in this Data Product, including, but not limited to: Name, US Number, KY Number, County Number, One Way Direction, and Speed Limits. Many attributes are represented as Right and Left sides, Such as Address Ranges, Zip Code, Jurisdiction, Maintenance Owner & Contact information. The Right and Left side is defined by the direction of the line arc which is determined by the direction of the addresses along it. This data is stored, maintained, and edited as line geometry. The Road Centerline Data Product and attribute information is updated continuously. This Data Product also supports the NENA Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG9-1-1) Core Services (NGCS) implementation guide. This Data Product is designed to support location validation and routing, both geospatial call routing or to the appropriate agency for dispatch. This Data Product is one of several GIS data layers (layers) used in local Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) and response agency mapping applications for handling and responding to 9-1-1 calls. This Data Product is one of the Required and/or Strongly Recommended layers which are utilized by the Emergency Call Routing Function (ECRF) and the Location Validation Function (LVF) and can be used by other public safety functions. This Data Product schema is primarily based on the “NENA Standard for NG9-1-1 GIS Data Model” document (NENA-STA-006.1.1-2020, DSC Approval: 02/18/2020).</SPAN></P><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
